Privacy policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026 · Draft

The short version: Orbit collects no personal data. No analytics, no accounts, no telemetry. This page spells out the few places where data exists at all.

The app

Orbit asks for two macOS permissions. Screen Recording is used to draw live thumbnails of your windows; those captures are made locally, shown on your screen, and never stored or transmitted. Accessibility is used to raise the window you pick. Nothing about your windows, apps, or usage leaves your Mac.

License validation

When you enter a license key, Orbit checks it against our licensing provider, Keygen. The request contains your license key and nothing else. Like any internet request, it necessarily exposes your IP address to the server that answers it. That is the app's entire network footprint.

Purchases

Orbit is sold through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record and payment processor: they handle your payment details, billing address, and tax. We never see your card number. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver your license key and help with support. Paddle's handling of your data is covered by Paddle's privacy policy.

Email

If you write to support@visionz.ai, we keep the thread so we can answer you and follow up. That's all it is used for.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with an updated date. Since there is nothing collected today, changes would most likely mean we started collecting something — and we would say so plainly at the top.
